C.I. Sulphur Yellow 9 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzene and phthalic anhydride as raw materials, first react 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzene with ammonia to form 2, 4-dinitroaniline, which is then acylated with acetic anhydride. Then 133 parts of 2, 4-dinitroacetanilide and 93 parts of phthalic anhydride were added to the melted (95℃) 280 parts of sodium sulfide and 94 parts of sulfur, and salt was added. The temperature was raised to 130℃ for 10-11h. Then quickly increase the temperature to 180°C and keep it for 3-4h until the end of the reaction. Then it is cooled and crushed to obtain finished products.

Uses
