Methods of Manufacturing

Using 2, 4-diaminotoluene as raw material, firstly, 2, 4-diaminotoluene and formic acid are formylated to produce 2, 4-diformamidotoluene. Then, the mixture of 2, 4-diformylaminotoluene and sulfur is calcined at 140-150°C, and the temperature is gradually increased to 218-220°C within 15 hours to obtain the product. After cooling and crushing, the finished product is obtained.

Uses

Sulfur yellow GC is mainly used for dyeing cotton, hemp, viscose fiber, vinylon, and also for leather coloring. Used for color matching, it can be dyed with grass green, beige, turmeric, yellow brown, dark brown, dark green, dark gray and other colors.
