ChEBI: A member of the class of 1,2,4-triazines that is 4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazin-3(2H)-one substituted by a methyl group at position 6 and a (pyridin-3-ylmethylidene)amino group at position 4.Pymetrozine is a new neuroactive insecticide. Drug Function and Efficacy

Experiments show that this product can prolong the life of fruit flies and mice, delay the life span of human embryonic lung diploids or fibroblasts and the time of mass death, have a significant effect on lipid peroxidation and superoxide dismutase, and inhibit monoamine oxidase. This product can promote the metabolism of nucleic acid and protein in bone marrow cells, increase the relative weight of rat testicles and brain, and the hypoxia tolerance of mice at normal pressure.
