Description

Spectinomycin Dihydrochloride is a new parenteral antibiotic prepared from Streptomyces spectabilis.Target: AntibacterialSpectinomycin is an antibiotic produced by Streptomyces spectabilis. It is active against gram-negative bacteria and used for the treatment of gonorrhea. Spectinomycin binds to the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome and interrupts protein synthesis. One form of resistance has emerged in the 16S ribosomal RNA in Pasteurella multocida [1]. It is given by injection to

Drug Function and Efficacy

It has moderate antibacterial effect on aerobic Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacteriaceae, Proteus, Acinetobacter, Haemophilus influenzae, Morganella, etc., and is particularly effective against Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Among Gram-positive bacteria, it is effective against Group A Streptococcus and Staphylococcus epidermidis. Among atypical pathogens, it is sensitive to ureaplasma urealyticum. t1/2=2.5 hours. It is often used to treat uncomplicated gonorrhea such as urethritis, proctitis, acute gonorrhea, cervicitis, etc. caused by penicillin-resistant bacteria and patients with penicillin resistance. It is mainly used for urinary tract infections caused by gonococci, and is suitable for patients resistant to penicillin, tetracycline, etc.

This ingredient has been used in drugs with the following functions (note: it does not mean that the ingredient itself has the following health functions)
