Description

Litsea cubeba is a member of the Lauraceae family, which includes the Cinnamomum species and Laurus nobilus orsweet bay. Methods of Manufacturing

The fresh fruits, leaves and bark of the Lauraceae plant Litsea cubeba, which is mainly produced in the south of the Yangtze River in my country, are obtained by steam distillation. The oil yield is 2%-8%.

Uses

Used as a raw material for spices and synthetic flavors; as a food flavor. It is the main raw material of citral. It is mainly used for the separation and extraction of mustard citral, and for the preparation of flavors for food and cosmetics and directly for the preparation of flavors for daily chemical products. It can also further synthesize ionone and vitamins.
