Antioxidant 626 is a white to off-white powdery substance with low volatility and higher efficiency. It is often used in combination with hindered phenolic antioxidants.

Ultranox 626 is a solid organophosphite antioxidant that improves gas fading performance and color stability during compounding, fabrication, and end use. It delivers high performance at low loading rates, making this a cost-effective addition to polymer formulas. Ultranox 626 synergizes with benzophenone and benzotriazole light stabilizers. It is so effective that it can replace another phosphite antioxidant in your formula and deliver equivalent performance at a significantly lower dosing rate.

Ultranox 626 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

(3) The product of the product dichloropentaerythritol diphosphite obtained in the step (2) is added dropwise to an aqueous solution of 2, 4-di-tert-butylphenol having a concentration of 0.6 mol/L, 2, 4-di-tert-butyl The molar ratio of phenol and dichloropentaerythritol diphosphite is 2.30:1, stirred by nitrogen, stirring speed is 800 rpm, and reacted at 60 ° C for 2 h, the hydrogen chloride gas formed by the reaction is sodium hydroxide solution. absorb;(4) The solvent is distilled off under reduced pressure at a temperature of 100 ° C and a pressure of 0.06 MPa, and then an appropriate amount of isopropanol is added, and the product is crystallized by stirring;(5) The product obtained in the step (4) is suction-filtered to obtain a white solid powder, which is bis(2, 4-di-tert-butylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphite.
