Sodium succinate hexahydrate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Hydrolysis of maleic anhydride to maleic acid with 5% sulfuric acid, this hydrolysate is electrolyzed in a ceramic electrolytic tank at 40~50℃ to generate succinic acid; the electrolyte is dissolved in water after cooling, crystallization and separation , And neutralized with sodium hydroxide to obtain disodium succinate; crystalline products can be dried by hot air drying at 120 ℃.

Uses

Acidulant and flavoring agent in foods. As protective coating for fruits and vegetables.
