US$16.79 billion! China National Petroleumsigns big deal
On November 5, the first day of the 5thFair, PetroChina signed a 10 billion dollar deal at the China Oil InternationalCooperation Forum and Signing Ceremony themed "Energy Security and LowCarbon Transformation under the Great Change".
Mr. Dai Houliang, Chairman of PetroChinaGroup, gave a keynote speech entitled "Expanding Open Cooperation andTackling Challenges Together to Safeguard Energy Supply Security in GreenCarpet Transition" at the forum.
At present, CNPC has formed the "three100 million tons" pattern of maintaining a steady increase in domesticcrude oil production of more than 100 million tons, domestic natural gasproduction of more than 100 million tons of oil equivalent, and the overallstability of overseas oil and gas equity production of more than 100 milliontons of oil equivalent. On the basis of this, CNPC has made great efforts toenhance exploration and development, strengthen cooperation in energy resourcesdevelopment, strengthen oil and gas supply capacity, and accelerate theconstruction of production, supply, storage and marketing system.
CNPC has incorporated green and low-carboninto its development strategy, clarified the goal and implementation path ofcarbon neutralization, continuously increased the proportion of natural gas inthe energy supply structure, promoted the construction of a "low-carbonenergy ecosystem" with comprehensive integration of fossil energy and newenergy, and made efforts to promote energy transformation and "doublecarbon "The company will continue to increase the proportion of naturalgas in the energy supply structure and promote the construction of a low-carbonenergy ecosystem with the comprehensive integration of fossil energy and newenergy.
For example, four new research institutesin Shenzhen, Shanghai, Japan and Dubai have been set up, and new results havebeen achieved in technology research and transformation of energy consumptionreduction and new energy. The comprehensive energy consumption and CO2 emissioncontrol of the ethylene production project reached the world advanced level.
Mr. Jia Yong, General Manager Assistant ofPetroChina Group, hosted the forum and signing ceremony. PetroChina signed 30procurement agreements with 30 partners, including UNI Group, Halliburton(China) Energy Services Limited and Schlumberger, with a total contract valueof US$16.79 billion.
According to statistics, in the past fiveyears, CNPC has taken the Fair as an important platform to strengtheninternational business cooperation and show a good image of the company,successfully held five CNPC International Cooperation Forums, integrated tradeand promoted cooperation with global partners, and signed procurement contractswith 142 suppliers totaling $92.79 billion.
