Lupin Launches Clobetasol Propionate Spray in the US
Pharma major Lupin has announced the launch of its Clobetasol Propionate Spray 0.05% having received an approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) earlier.
Lupin’s spray is the generic equivalent of Galderma Laboratories, L.P.’s Clobex Spray, 0.05%. It is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis affecting up to 20% body surface area (BSA) in patients 18 years of age or older.
The spray 0.05% had annual sales of approximately $30.5-mn in the US (IQVIA MAT January 2018).
