Jovo Energy to Build LNG Receiving Terminal in Philippines

According to sources, Jovo Energy Group, China’s first independent LNG importer located in Guangdong Province in South China, recently decided to invest over 25 billion USD to newly build an LNG receiving terminal covering an area of around 50 hectares to provide LNG to the local market.

Within the Boao Forum, President Duterte visited China at Hainan Province and witnessed the signing of letters of intent by companies that are keen on exploring opportunities in the energy, tourism, infrastructure, agriculture and health sectors. The total investment reaches 9.5 billion USD and will create over 10 thousand new jobs in the Philippines.
