China's vitamin exports will drop by 8.3% month-on-month in July 2020
According to customs data, China’s total vitamin exports (excluding choline) in July 2020 were 28,400 tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.8% and a month-on-month decrease of 8.3%. The export volume of more vitamins fell month-on-month in July, and the volume of a few vitamins increased month-on-month. Among them, the export volume of B6 increased by 3.3% month-on-month and decreased by 24.3% year-on-year. The export volume of VA in July was 462.7 tons, down 5.8% year-on-year and up 42.8% month-on-month. From January to July 2020, VA exported 2914.5 tons, an increase of 7% year-on-year. In July, the export volume of VE was 4,817 tons, down 15.1% year-on-year. From January to July 2020, the export volume of VE was 46,400 tons, up 4.3% year-on-year.
In July 2020, China's VC export volume was 16,000 tons, an increase of 21.8% year-on-year and a month-on-month decrease of 15.3%. From January to July, my country's VC export volume was 121,600 tons, an increase of 21.6% year-on-year. From January to July 2020, my country’s vitamin exports (excluding choline) totaled 213,500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%. The total export volume from January to July was US$2.045 billion, a year-on-year increase of 21.3%.
In July 2020, China's vitamin A export volume was 462.7 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.8%, and the average unit price was US$66.5/kg, a slight decrease from the previous month. From January to July 2020, the cumulative export volume of my country's vitamin A and derivatives reached 2914.5 tons, an increase of 7% year-on-year. From January to July 2020, my country’s vitamin A exports totaled US$166 million. In February 2020, due to my country's fight against the non-coronavirus epidemic, the company's resumption of work was delayed, and my country's VA exports increased significantly in March, April, and May. The new crown epidemic abroad is raging, inventory consumption has been prolonged, and my country's VA exports in the third quarter have dropped from the previous month. BASF's German factories VA and AD3 stopped receiving orders in the third and fourth quarters due to quality problems.
In July 2020, China's vitamin E export volume was 4,817 tons, down 5.8% year-on-year, and the average unit price was 9.27 US dollars/kg, a slight increase from the previous month. From January to July 2020, the export volume of VE was 46,400 tons, an increase of 4.3% year-on-year. From January to July 2020, the export value of my country's VE products is 366 million US dollars, and the average unit price is 7.89 US dollars/kg. The rapid spread of the foreign new crown epidemic, the slowdown of consumption by foreign companies, and the month-on-month VE export volume in July. Nengte will not be able to produce in 2020, and some manufacturers will stop production for maintenance before mid-September, and the VE market supply will shrink.
