Germany's Gelita, Launches Blog Dedicated to Collagen Proteins
Germany-based supplier of collagen proteins, Gelita, has announced the launch of what it described as the “first-ever blog” dedicated to collagen proteins. The new blog – #AmazingCollagen – is designed to “explore and expand perceptions and expertise related to all things about gelatine and collagen peptides,” the company said.
Mr. Michael Teppner, Global Vice President Marketing, commented, “The blog is anticipated to quickly become a leading resource for formulators, product developers, marketers and operations personnel in the food, pharmaceutical, personal care and health & nutrition space.”
The blog will call upon the expertise of Gelita’s internal team members as well as outside key opinion leaders and influencers from around the world. This blog is just one part of Gelita’s comprehensive social media initiative designed to promote #AmazingGelatine and #AmazingCollagen.
The family-owned company supplies collagen peptides with proven body-stimulating capabilities, tailor-made gelatines and non- or partly- water soluble collagens. In the current era of highly demanding consumers, manufacturers of food products have to rely on natural, healthy, non-allergenic ingredients for their developments. According to Gelita, its collagen proteins are the perfect match for this as they fulfil all of these requirements, a particular plus being the fact that they are foodstuffs in their own right. They also possess a set of unique technical and physiological properties.
Besides the traditional use of collagen proteins as natural stabilisers and emulsifiers for countless products, they enable manufacturers to provide their products with other properties which are becoming more and more important. Gelita has intensified its research in developing solutions for physical mobility, body toning and beauty from within.
