ICE Cotton Futures Market Extends Upswing
ICE cotton futures market extended upswing.
Cotton contracts for Jul closed at 84.73 cents per lb, up 0.20 cents per lb and Dec contract closed at 79.35 cents per lb, up 0.50 cents per lb. By the week ending Apr 29, 12% of cotton crops has been planted in U.S., down 2% from a year ago.
Cotlook A Index rose by 0.25cent/lb to 93.25cent/lb.
