Statistical analysis of waterborne coating industry data
Water-reducible paint refers to a paint prepared from a post-emulsified emulsion as a film-forming material. The solvent-based resin is dissolved in an organic solvent, and then with the help of an emulsifier, the resin is dispersed in water to form an emulsion by strong mechanical stirring. The following is a statistical analysis of water-based coating industry data.
According to the analysis of the water-based paint industry, the emergence of water-based paints represented by water-based paints is hailed as the "third paint revolution" by the industry. Compared with traditional solvent-based coatings, water-based coatings have unique advantages, namely environmental friendliness, safety, lower cost advantages and good smoothness.
During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the country vigorously promotes pollution control and focuses on the development of energy-saving and environmental protection industries. Therefore, as environmental protection policies become stricter, the transformation of the coating industry to a green and friendly direction is the only way for the industry, and the direction of water-based transformation is also coating The inevitable trend of the industry.
The development of China's water-based coatings is still in the initial stage, and the penetration rate is much lower than that of developed countries in Europe and America. Driven by relevant favorable policies, especially the "Notice on the Collection of Consumption Tax on Batteries and Coatings" promulgated by the State Administration of Taxation, China's water-based coatings are expected to develop rapidly and their penetration rate will increase.
At present, domestic coatings are mainly divided into architectural coatings, powder coatings, automotive coatings, wood coatings, industrial protective coatings, marine coatings, coil coatings, etc., of which architectural coatings account for more than 30%. In the past few years, architectural coatings have taken the lead in initially completing the substitution of water-based to solvent-based, but their proportions in automotive paint, wood paint and industrial paint are still relatively low.
The rapid development of China's paint industry has become the world's largest paint producer. However, the environmental protection of paint products has always been a topic of concern in the industry. It is in sharp contrast with the fast-developing paint industry. my country's water-based paint has developed nearly a dozen Years have always been tepid, and the road to development is slightly longer.
There is a big gap with foreign water-based coatings, especially in the field of architectural coatings. With the expansion of the application range of water-based coatings, it is predicted that the proportion of water-based coatings in my country will reach 20% within five years. In the next five years, my country's water-based paint output will grow at an average growth rate of 23%.
In the future, with the sustained and rapid growth of China's economy, the massive construction of infrastructure, and the gradual increase of people's awareness of environmental protection, coatings will surely move toward a healthy, environmentally friendly, water-based road, and the water-based coating industry will usher in a broader space for development.
New products such as water-based wood paint, water-based anticorrosive paint, water-based anti-rust paint, and water-based metallic paint will gradually occupy the leading position in coating. Faced with increasingly stringent environmental protection policies, whether it is coating raw material suppliers, coating manufacturers, coating equipment, and coating equipment manufacturers, they are accelerating the transformation and development of environmentally friendly products such as water-based coatings.
