UK and EU restart talks on trade relations
Negotiations on the future relationship between the UK and the EU are set to resume on the 22nd. This is the latest development in negotiations between the UK and the EU after last week's impasse. However, the British Prime Minister's Office said, do not rule out the possibility that the two sides can not reach an agreement. The outside world on the "no deal Brexit" concerns are rising, the European economy in the second wave of the epidemic in the shadow of a possible double impact.
The British Prime Minister's Office said in a statement on the 21st that the UK is ready to restart negotiations with the EU team, and both sides have jointly established some principles for the intensive negotiation phase. It is reported that the first phase of negotiations will be held in London from 22 to 25. The Prime Minister's Office said that there are still significant differences between the UK and EU positions in the most difficult areas of the negotiations, and "it is entirely possible that the negotiations will not be successful." But the statement also said, "We are ready to work with the EU to see if it is possible to bridge the differences and build bridges between the two sides in intensive negotiations."
