Small Chemical Explosion on UB's North Campus
Haz-Mat crews worked to contain a small-scale chemical explosion at the University at Buffalo's North Campus in Amherst Monday evening.
University officials say the explosion happened in a lab at the Natural Sciences Building.
The incident was first reported as a fire, but investigators now tell us there was no actual fire.
The building has been evacuated. People are being asked to stay away until further notice.
