Big dive! Chemical market low volatility
As of June 2, the Chemical Products Price Index (CCPI) closed at 4292 points, down 0.8%.
Among the important chemical products monitored, a total of 12 products increased, accounting for 19.4%, and the products with the highest increase were polymerized MDI (4.5%) and aniline (3.2%). A total of 44 products fell, accounting for 71.0%, and the top products fell were acetone (12.7%), phenol (9.2%) and acrylonitrile (8.5%).
The aggregate MDI market is on the rise. At present, the average operating rate of the industry maintains about 5-60%, some manufacturers control panel support, and the market attitude is positive; Traders follow the market, low prices reduced; The downstream is in the stage of digesting the increase, and the buying gas is gradually recovering. Short-term aggregate MDI market or range is expected to rise.
Aniline market turbulence strengthened. Some aniline factories start unstable within the week, the output decreases, and the overall inventory of the enterprise is not high; Some rubber auxiliary enterprises start to resume production, just need to take goods actively; In the delivery of foreign trade orders, the supply and demand side preference has promoted the aniline market price to fluctuate upward. It is expected that aniline in the future market may still have upward space.
Acetone market decline continues. Some temporary parking devices have been restarted in the week, the downstream overall construction is insufficient, the market supply and demand imbalance, the confidence of the industry has been frustrated, and the focus of the negotiation has been bottoming out. Expected after acetone or weak shocks mainly.
Phenol market is weak and downward. Supply expectations are significantly increased, demand is insufficient, and the market trading atmosphere is weak; Downstream factories more cautious wait-and-see attitude, sporadic inquiries to lower prices. Phenol or low finishing is expected in the future.
The acrylonitrile market continued to move sharply lower. Lihua Yi device restarted as scheduled, the overall downstream demand remained weak, the oversupply pressure further increased, the overall price of manufacturers decreased, and the focus of spot negotiations was further lowered. Acrylonitrile is expected to continue to fall in the future.
