The Chinese acetone market has slightly declined. Since August 1st, the acetone market in East China has been quoted at 4,820 CNY/ton, and by August 8th, it was quoted at 4,730 CNY/ton, a price decrease of 1.87%. Across the national acetone market, there have been similar fluctuations.**

The Chinese acetone market has slightly declined. During the week, Sinopec companies lowered their listed prices, with East China companies implementing 4800 CNY/ton. As Shanghai Xisa restarted and Dalian Hengli increased its load, the operating rate of Chinese phenol and acetone plants rose to 75%, leading to increased shipping pressure. The market also showed a downward trend, with limited real transaction volumes and insufficient trading. So far, the August acetone cargo volume in East China is 38,000 tons, with 16,000 tons having arrived.
