HELM launches its digital agriculture solution SKYFLD® in Brazil
HELM Brazil recently launched its SKYFLD® platform, a digital tool for precision agriculture, during the congress of the Brazilian Retailers Association (Andav). The SKYFLD® platform is one of the company's solutions for improving crop management and helping to digitize the agriculture of the future.
As a precision farming tool, the platform can monitor crops, plan weekly events and share information with relevant teams. It is also a digital infrastructure that can be used for field management, planning and recording field activities. The platform is suitable for organizations' more complex operations and enables direct, secure, data-driven communication directly with colleagues, employees or consultants, ensuring a high level of reliability and transparency.
According to Andre Salvador, global Head of HELM SKYFLD®, the novelty of the platform is the integration of Plantix and CropX. Plantix digital solutions enable disease identification and assessment based on images and are a platform for disseminating best agricultural practices. The app covers 30 crops, detects more than 500 plant symptoms, is available in 18 languages and has been downloaded more than 15 million times worldwide. In addition, Plantix has created an ecosystem that makes it easy for distributors to connect with farmers and provide procurement and financing services. These services are provided free of charge.
The SKYFLD® platform has added soil moisture monitoring capabilities with the inclusion of CropX. The main goal of these technologies is to further reduce agricultural production costs and improve efficiency. The app is available for users in Europe and South America, is compatible with Android and iOS systems, and is free to download. When combined with the SKYFLD® web version, which is automatically synchronized with the application, maximum productivity can be achieved.
The company also introduced several crop protection solutions at the conference. The herbicide Allus® (Sulfentrazone + Imazethapyr) can reduce the seed bank, ensure the absence of weeds, and facilitate the germination and growth of soybeans. It is an essential product for the management of difficult and resistant weeds. It has a wide control spectrum, a long duration, suitable for producers' needs, and a reliable effect. Proteus® (Chlorothalonil + Tebuconazole), a fungicide specially designed for soybean cultivation, has multiple sites of action and endosorbent action, and its ingredients make it an excellent tool for resistance management in addition to being highly effective against Asian rust disease, without the use of additives.
