Gansu Jinghong plans to build an 19,200 t/a of pesticide and pesticide intermediates project

 In order to meet the market demand and improve the competitiveness of enterprises, Gansu Jinghong plans to build an annual output of 19,200 tons of pesticide technicals and pesticide intermediates in the chemical industry Park of Liugou Coal Chemical Industry Park in Guazhou industrial concentration area.

The project is constructed in stages, and according to the enterprise development plan, the environmental impact assessment of the 2000 t/a Prothioconazole and 4000 t/a 1-Chlorocyclopropyl-2-chloroethan-1-one production line was publicized on August 16.

1-Chlorocyclopropyl-2-chloroethan-1-one is an important chemical intermediate, which is one of the important intermediates in the synthesis of Prothioconazole. Prothioconazole is a kind of Triadimefon fungicide developed by Bayer. It has the advantages of wide sterilization, good absorption activity, high protection, treatment and eradication activity, long period of validity and so on. It is widely used in wheat, soybean rape, rice, peanut, sugar beet and so on.

Gansu Jinghong was established on November 12, 2021, registered in Liugou Coal Chemical Industrial Park, Guazhou County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province. The business scope includes the licensed items: packaging and decoration printing; Pesticide production; Fertilizer production, etc.
