Hymexazol was expanded to bean and zucchini in China

 Recently, three 15% Hymexazol AS products were approved for registration in China at the same time.

The newly registered crops and control objects were bean blight, zucchini blight and kiwi damping off.

Prevention and treatment of bean blight, it is recommended to 5 ~ 7 grams/square meter dose, 80 kg/mu of water, spray the stem base at the beginning of the disease, can be used twice, an interval of about 7 days, a safe interval of 7 days, up to 2 times per season. For the prevention and treatment of zucchini blight, it is recommended to use a dose of 5 to 6 grams/square meter, add 120 to 180 kg/mu of water, spray the stem base at the beginning of the disease, and use the pesticide twice, with an interval of about 7 days, and a safe interval of 7 days, and use it up to 2 times per season. For the prevention and treatment of kiwifruit blight, it is recommended to irrigate the roots once at the dose of 5-7 g/m2 before the tree bud, the water consumption for cutting is 250 mL/ plant, the water consumption for sowing is about 2 kg/m2, and the maximum use is once per season. This is the first time that Hymexazol has been registered on Chinese beans and zucchini, and it is also the first batch of pesticide products registered for the prevention and control of these three diseases in China.

Previously, 30% Hymexazol AS product was approved to be expanded to kiwifruit trees on January 24, 2024, for the prevention and treatment of root rot.

Hymexazol is an excellent soil disinfectant, which is highly effective against a variety of pathogenic fungi such as rot mold and fusarium in soil. It is mainly used for seed disinfection and soil treatment to prevent and control various soil-borne diseases. Currently, 184 products have been effectively registered in China, including 11 original drugs (all registered before the end of September 2012). 173 preparations (37 newly registered since 2020). 

GB 2763 stipulates that the maximum residue limits of Hymexazol in Chinese beans, zucchini and kiwifruit are 1, 2 and 0.1 mg/kg, respectively (all provisional limits).
