Lanxess Unveils Neolone BioG Preservative: A Sustainable Shield

Lanxess has introduced its latest innovation, the Neolone BioG Preservative (INCI: Ethyl Lauroyl Arginate HCL), a Cosmos-approved, environmentally friendly ingredient aligning with the criteria of the company's Scopeblue sustainability brand.

This preservative offers a wide-ranging defense against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, yeasts, and molds. Operating efficiently within a pH range of 3 to 6, the preservative is notable for its biodegradability. When utilized at recommended levels, it proves to be non-sensitizing and non-irritating, as affirmed by the company.

Furthermore, this versatile ingredient finds applications in leave-on and rinse-off products, such as creams, face masks, cleansers, hair conditioners, and wet wipes.
