Rongsheng Petrochemical: Holding Subsidiary Project Put into Production
On the evening of November 22, Rongsheng Petrochemical Co., Ltd. issued an announcement stating that the third film drawing line and supporting polymerization device of the 250,000-ton annual functional polyester film expansion project of its holding subsidiary Zhejiang Yongsheng Technology Co., Ltd. have been successfully put into operation not long ago, and have successfully produced qualified products.
Polyester film has excellent physical and chemical properties and has many market application scenarios. In recent years, the product variety, quantity and quality of Rongsheng Petrochemical's polyester films have been continuously improved, and are widely used in high-precision technical fields such as photovoltaics, optics, construction, outdoor equipment, home furnishing, electronics, and electrical engineering.
Zhejiang Yongsheng Technology Co., Ltd. invested 2 billion yuan to use the existing idle land on the north side of the Keqiao factory in Shaoxing, Zhejiang to build a new factory of 100,000 square meters and implement an expansion project of functional polyester film with an annual output of 250,000 tons. The project added a set of 150,000-ton polyester synthesis equipment, three sliced Farad film production lines, three direct-melt farad film production lines and related supporting equipment. After the 250,000-ton functional polyester film expansion project equipment is fully put into operation, the company's polyester film production capacity will reach 430,000 tons, ranking among the top four in China.
On May 10, Rongsheng Petrochemical announced that the project’s first film drawing line and supporting polymerization equipment were successfully put into operation.
On October 23, Rongsheng Petrochemical announced that the project’s second film drawing line and supporting polymerization equipment have been successfully put into operation. Among them, the supporting functional masterbatch polyester production line has achieved zero waste discharge and zero degradation for the first time in the industry.
