Suave Brands and Elida Beauty Complete Merger to Form Personal Care Giant Evermark with Annual Retail Sales Near $1.9 Billion

ECHEMI 2026-01-23

U.S.-based personal care companies Suave Brands Company and Elida Beauty have officially completed their merger, creating the new global personal care group Evermark. The deal was led by Boston private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners. The newly integrated company is expected to generate approximately $1.9 billion in annual retail sales, spanning hair care, body care, lip care, and everyday beauty products, establishing itself as a major force in the personal care industry.

Evermark brings together a portfolio of iconic consumer brands, including Suave, the top-selling hair and body care brand in the U.S., used in nearly half of American households; Q‑tips, the leading cotton swab brand in the U.S.; and ChapStick, the top-selling lip balm brand. The portfolio also includes Pond’s, Caress, St. Ives, Noxzema, TIGI, as well as internationally recognized brands such as V05, Brut, Impulse, Alberto Balsam, Timotei, and Monsavon. With this diversified brand lineup, Evermark now meets the daily personal care needs of tens of millions of consumers worldwide.

In terms of leadership, Suave Brands CEO Daniel Alter will serve as CEO of Evermark, overseeing global business development and operational strategy, while former Elida Beauty CEO Alfie Vivian will take on the role of President of European Operations, leading the brand’s growth in Europe. Suave’s existing management team will remain in place, while key executives from Elida will join to ensure a smooth operational transition.

Dana Schmaltz, Partner at Yellow Wood Partners, stated that the merger is not just an asset integration but a strategic initiative to build a “next-generation personal care brand platform.” Leveraging greater scale and a diverse brand portfolio, Evermark will be able to better serve consumers, retail partners, and stakeholders, while retaining the potential to acquire additional high-quality brands and product lines in the future, further strengthening its industry leadership.

Industry observers note that the formation of Evermark represents one of the most significant consolidation moves in the personal care sector in recent years, reshaping the competitive landscape and providing a new model for managing large-scale brand portfolios. Over the coming months, Evermark will gradually unify internal systems, packaging, and brand identities under the new name, supporting global market expansion and enhancing brand influence.
