Sipcam Nichino launches Pulsor 240 SC, a Thifluzamide fungicide, in Brazil

Recently, Brazil Sipcam Nichino disclosed that it has launched a new fungicide Pulsor 240 SC (Thifluzamide), registered for coffee, chrysanthemums and lawns, specifically for the prevention of rhizoctonia disease, with preventive and therapeutic properties.

One of the main challenges growers face in the production process today is the rhizoctonia solani, which occurs mainly in cold soil and attacks seedlings before and after emergence, affecting the growth and evenness of the crop, causing root rot, ulcers and collapse, and possibly even the loss of the entire tuber crop.

According to Sipcam Nichino, Pulsor 240 SC is an endogenous fungicide containing active ingredients of the Formanilide group with slow translocation, long-lasting residual effects and therapeutic effects. It stressed that in potato cultivation, Pulsor 240 SC should be applied in trenches, and that prophylactic use of Pulsor 240 SC can help potato growers to achieve higher productivity and profitability, so as not to be damaged by disease.
