Nippon Paint Energy Storage Cabinet Powder Coating Solution Provides SolaX Power and PYLONTECH
Recently, Nippon Paint has reached cooperation with SolaX Power and PYLONTECH. Nippon Paint's innovative powder coating solution for energy storage cabinets has been successfully applied to the energy storage cabinet products of two companies, providing superior performance protection for various parts of energy storage equipment, further confirming Nippon Paint's leading strength in the field of new energy parts coating.
Under the guidance of the dual carbon goals, clean energy transformation has entered the fast lane. China's "14th Five-Year Plan" proposes to support the construction of a new power system and accelerate the high-quality and large-scale development of new energy storage. At present, the energy storage field has become the investment focus of energy giants.
Energy storage cabinet is a device that stores and manages electrical energy. It is widely used in electric vehicles, solar power generation, grid peak shaving, home energy storage and other fields. Since energy storage cabinets are usually placed in outdoor environments, the anti-corrosion and weather resistance of their internal and external surfaces is crucial. To this end, Nippon Paint has launched a comprehensive coating product portfolio, including pre-treatment, electrophoretic coating, powder coating, liquid coating, structural adhesive, thermal insulation coating and fire retardant coating, etc. Among them, powder coatings exhibit excellent weather resistance, impact resistance and corrosion resistance due to their excellent mechanical and physical and chemical properties.
Based on the field of new energy components, Nippon Paint integrates the technological advantages of resin system powder coatings to create powder coating solutions for energy storage customers. Nippon Paint powder coating is a zero-VOC solvent-free coating. It has good adhesion, insulation and voltage resistance, corrosion resistance and aging resistance. The coating is uniform and stable. The thickness is generally 80-300μm. It can meet different needs in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.
At the same time, Nippon Paint's powder coating process can well adapt to the metal materials, shapes, structures and sizes of different parts, reducing the difficulty of refined construction with the support of coating equipment.
In the practice of painting energy storage cabinets, Nippon Paint focuses on the entire process from workshop painting to outdoor use, giving full play to the practicality and convenience of powder coating.
Previously, Nippon Paint's NPAN series insulating powder has demonstrated excellent voltage resistance in the Envision Energy energy storage cabinet battery tray project.
It is also used in the energy storage insulation equipment supporting the power swap project of State Power Investment Corporation to ensure smooth supply to customers with insulation voltage resistance and construction convenience. With the advantages of low carbon and environmental protection, Nippon Paint's NPDT series of weather-resistant powders also meet the green standards of PYLONTECH, SolaX Power, and other household energy storage cabinet customers. In addition, Nippon Paint has also developed high-performance epoxy primer and super weather-resistant powder to meet the material and process needs of commercial storage cabinet customers such as JinkoSolar and RelyEZ Energy.
The supply of SolaX Power and PYLONTECH this time is an important recognition of China's new energy industry for Nippon Paint's technological innovation and application level. Nippon Paint said that in the future, it will continue to leverage its profound Chinese market heritage and globally coordinated R&D capabilities to provide new energy customers with higher-quality and environmentally friendly coating solutions, and unite the strength of the industrial chain to promote the green transformation of energy and power, helping China accelerate its journey towards carbon neutrality.
