Alembic announces successful USFDA inspection at joint venture

Aleor Dermaceuticals Ltd., a 60:40 joint venture between Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Orbicular Pharmaceutical Technologies Pvt. Ltd., has successfully cleared its first US FDA inspection of its new formulation facility located at Karakhadi, Gujarat, without any observations. The scheduled inspection was carried out between October 15-19, 2018.
Aleor was formed in April 2016 to develop, manufacture and commercialise dermatology products for worldwide markets. Till date the company has filed six ANDAs.
