ARLANXEO to build Therban® hydrogenated nitrile rubber plant in China

As one of the world's major high-performance elastomer manufacturers, ARLANXEO recently announced a new hydrogenated nitrile rubber plant in Changzhou, China. The plant has a designed annual production capacity of approximately 5,000 tons. The first phase of the project will be officially put into production in the third quarter of 2025 and will supply the market with approximately 2,500 tons of high-quality synthetic rubber each year.

Therban® hydrogenated nitrile rubber has outstanding extreme temperature resistance, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, and can be used in a wide range of high-performance synthetic rubber applications in automotive systems, oil exploration, mechanical engineering, aerospace and new mobility batteries.
