Jiahua Energy Plans to Invest in a 120,000-ton High-Performance Synthetic Rubber Project
Recently, Jiahua Energy announced that its holding subsidiary Zhejiang Jiahua New Materials Co., Ltd. plans to invest no more than 1.25 billion yuan to build a high-performance synthetic rubber project (Phase I). The total planned annual production capacity of the project is 240,000 tons. The first phase will first build a 120,000-ton device. The second phase will be determined based on the operating conditions and market trends after the first phase is put into production.
The project will start construction after completing the safety assessment, environmental assessment, energy assessment and other approval procedures. It is expected to be completed within 18 months, and the products are planned to be gradually put on the market from 2027. After the project reaches full production, it is expected to achieve an annual operating income of approximately 1.78 billion yuan.
Jiahua Energy is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to building a circular economy. Its main business covers fatty alcohols (acids), polyvinyl chloride, steam, chlorine alkali, pharmaceutical intermediates, refined sulfuric acid and other products. It is also involved in new energy power generation, hydrogen energy equipment, port logistics and other fields.
In 2024, the company achieved operating income of 9.153 billion yuan and net profit attributable to the parent company of 1.008 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 14.57%.
