The 500 million biopharmaceutical project settled in Hongshan, mainly producing these raw materials!

ECHEMI 2021-04-12

In order to accelerate the cultivation and promotion of the development of the biopharmaceutical industry, and further enhance the level of the pharmaceutical industry, Huang Congwei, deputy head of the Hongshan District Government of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, led the third investment promotion team, relying on Chifeng Pharmaceutical, a local company, to carry out "inviting investment through business", and went three times Shanghai has conducted multiple rounds of docking with Shanghai Desano Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to facilitate the settlement of a green manufacturing production base project centered on biotechnology such as microbial fermentation and enzyme conversion in the Hongshan High-tech Park.

The project is advanced in technology, environmentally friendly, scientific in energy use, and expected to be good. The planned total investment is 500 million yuan. The key construction is to produce anti-AIDS APIs, anti-diuresis APIs, steroids APIs, and Hyaluronic Acid ( Hyaluronic acid) series of products, anti-tumor raw materials, antibiotic raw materials, 6 kinds of drugs as the main drug, and other fermented drugs as supplementary "6+N" production base. After the project is put into production, it is estimated that the annual sales revenue will reach more than 3 billion yuan, the profit will be 300 million yuan, the profit and tax will be more than 230 million yuan, and more than 450 people will be employed.

What is the "6+N" production base construction project?

1. Anti-AIDS and other antiviral drug raw materials and intermediates project

Use microbial fermentation, microbial conversion, enzyme catalysis and other biotechnologies to build production lines for anti-AIDS and other antiviral drugs, including fermentation workshops, extraction workshops, and enzyme conversion workshops.

2. Diabetes treatment drug raw materials and intermediates project

It mainly includes: fermentation and extraction workshop of anti-diabetic drug Acarbose, and construction of production line for microbial conversion and enzyme conversion of diabetes drug intermediates. Among them: Acarbose's production line includes one fermentation and extraction workshop, with a designed annual output of 50 tons, occupying about 40% of the global market share.

3. The project of steroidal raw materials and intermediates

Utilize advanced and green microbial fermentation and biotransformation technologies to produce steroid series APIs and intermediates with global competitive advantages, including 4-AD, 9-OH AD, etc.

4. Hyaluronic acid series product project

Construct hyaluronic acid fermentation workshops and supporting extraction workshops to form medicinal, cosmetic, and food-grade hyaluronic acid (hyaluronic acid) series products, with a total annual output of 100 tons.

5. Fermented anti-tumor drug project

Take advantage of Chifeng Pharmaceutical's supporting infrastructure in the field of microbial fermentation to build a production line of fermented anti-tumor raw materials with competitive advantages, including staurosporine and other products.

6. High value-added fermentation antibiotic raw material medicine project

Mainly include vancomycin, Daptomycin and other high-end Antibiotics against drug-resistant bacteria.

7. Other series of microbial fermentation projects with important economic value
