Vector Consumer Group acquires supplement brand Pura Collagen

ECHEMI 2024-04-17

Beauty supplement brand Pura Collagen has been acquired by Vector Consumer Group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2021, Pura Collagen offers a range of supplement powders that claim to improve skin brightness, aid sleep and manage menopause, among other benefits. Products include Glow, Sleep, Protect and Flex powders that can be added to food or beverages.

The acquisition will see co-founders Jennifer Mo and Rob Knowles join Vector Consumer’s senior leadership team as directors of strategy and implementation and supply chain and logistics, respectively.

Mo said she was "extremely excited" about the future development of the brand. "This alliance allows Pura to continue leading the collagen category with innovation as it will now be strongly supported by Vector Consumer's infrastructure,"

Matt Banks-Crompton, managing director of Vector Consumer, said the acquisition would enhance its ambition to become "the authoritative voice in collagen". "This is an extremely important time for Vector Consumer and the services we plan to deliver to our industry, the addition of Pura Collagen and their team will enable us to make additional exciting acquisitions in our space."

Vector Consumer currently owns the beauty supplement brand Solv as well as a range of sports nutrition and health supplements officially licensed by Liverpool FC for the Asian market.
