Orion launches Printex chroma 500 beads for polymer market
Orion SA, a global specialty chemicals company, has launched Prinex chroma 500 beads, a high jet carbon black designed for the engineered plastics market, which demands the highest aesthetic quality.
The new product is part of Orion’s continued investment in the development of high-value grades of carbon black. The beaded furnace black is also the beginning of a new range of specialty grades of carbon black for the polymer market.
“Printex chroma 500 beads is a major breakthrough for Orion, offering the perfect balance between high jetness and dispersibility,” said Tilo Lindner, vice president of global marketing for specialty products at Orion.
“This is a product that our customers have been asking for for a long time. It is ideal for injection molded automotive parts, home appliances, electronics and other applications that require a glossy surface.
