AkzoNobel Adds Concrete Repair, Maintenance to International Range of Protective

AkzoNobel is expanding its International range with additional coatings and mortars for the repair and remediation of concrete. Following AkzoNobel’s acquisition of Flexcrete Technologies Ltd in June 2017, the full range of advanced cementitious coatings is being made available as part of the Intercrete series.
“Dozens of businesses already trust the reputation of the innovative product technology in this range, using them to preserve vital assets around the world and protect the structures that people rely upon every day,” said Ian Fletcher, European protective coatings marketing manager for AkzoNobel. “By bringing the full range available following the acquisition into the Intercrete product range, we’re able to create complete systems for a variety and mix of substrates. On assets with mixed concrete and steel, customers have access to a more comprehensive solution when we combine Intercrete with our existing International range.”
Thirteen Intercrete products are already available to customers worldwide, and the full range will become available to former Flexcrete customers this spring. As a part of the International brand, Intercrete benefits from the global reach and technical expertise of AkzoNobel.
“These are proven products, with proven technology and are the perfect addition to the Intercrete range,” Fletcher added.
