Core Industrial Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Winky Lux
Winky Lux has announced a majority investment from Core Industrial Partners. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The private equity firm said it is positioned to “enhance Winky Lux’s growth capabilities while preserving the brand’s unique identity and joy-centric approach.”
The investment enables Winky Lux to leverage Core’s strategic guidance and operational support to fund its expansion across digital and physical retail channels. The CEO, co-founders, and management team will all remain with the company. Additionally, Winky Lux has appointed industry veterans Zack Zavalydriga and Cassandra Batista to the beauty brand’s board of directors.
Winky Lux CEO and co-founder Natalie Mackey revealed: “Joining forces with Core is an exciting next step for Winky Lux. This partnership allows us to meet customer needs, scale our business, maximize existing retailer partnerships with Target, Ulta, and Shoppers Drug, and reach new heights in product innovation. We believe Core’s experience and resources will help us achieve our long-term goals while staying true to our brand values of joy and creativity.”
