Paraguay Cautions: Top 4 Health Supplement Blacklists Revealed - Unregistered and Unregulated Products with High Health Risks Exposed!

Paraguay's National Health Surveillance Agency (Dinavisa) issued a stern warning on the 28th against the illegal sale of health products on the Internet, and solemnly reminded the general public to check whether they have legal sales qualifications when buying products.

According to Paraguay's Latest Moment newspaper, the National Health Surveillance Agency issued information pointing out that The illegally sold health products included "Mbarete" tea, "Ana Biocaps" capsules that claimed to contain collagen, "Bajar Facil" weight loss capsules and "Secabarriga Detox" capsules that claimed to have digestive, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The National Health Supervision Agency made it clear that the above-mentioned products lacked scientific evidence to support their efficacy and were not registered for health, in violation of the relevant laws and regulations of Paraguay.

In accordance with Article 4, paragraph 4, of Law 1119/97, Paraguay prohibits the sale of counterfeit, expired, unauthorized or illegally imported products. The National Health Supervision Bureau urged the public not to buy such health care products to avoid serious health hazards.

The warning is not the first, and comes weeks after the National Health watchdog warned about the illegal sale of beauty and personal hygiene products. These products also do not have health registration and may find their way into the domestic market through illegal channels. The National Health Supervision Administration also issued a warning in June against social networks and pharmacies promoting drugs in the name of health products, stressing the importance of buying authorized and regulated products. Consumers should carefully verify that products have the appropriate health registration and ensure that these products have been reviewed and approved by the competent authorities. Only in this way can public health be effectively protected from harm caused by products of unknown origin.
