Putin Signs New Order: Food Embargo Extended for Two More Years, Sanctions Continue Until 2026!

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree extending a food embargo imposed in 2014 in response to international sanctions until 2025 and 2026, Sputnik news agency reported in Moscow. The decree has been officially published on the official website of Russian Legal Information.


"Presidential Decree No. 560 of August 6, 2014, aimed at ensuring the security of the Russian Federation and implementing independent special economic measures, extends the validity period of independent special economic measures from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026," the decree states.
