Again, there are exceptions here, too, as it can behave as a Lewis base (i.e. can donate two electrons) when interacting with other substances that accept electron pairs (such as Lewis acids). However, according to the traditional Bronsted-Lowry sense, this Lewis base nature still does not classify acetone as a true base.
So, it can be concluded that acetone is a natural ketone with neither strongly acidic nor basic properties in aqueous solutions.
