Cabot Carbon Black Products to Increase Prices Globally, Effective December 2024!
Cabot Corporation has decided to implement a worldwide price increase for carbon black products sold by its Specialty carbon business as of December 1, 2024, or as permitted by contractual terms. This is due to the impact of inflation on labor costs, maintenance costs, other manufacturing operations expenses and supply chain related costs, making the price increase necessary. Price increases will vary by product category and geographic location. The price adjustment is designed to ensure that Cabot can continue to provide customers with stable, long-term high-quality products and services. Cabot is committed to ensuring the security of supply for its customers, maintaining the highest standards of service and advancing the company's sustainability goals by providing technological and process innovation.
