15 Products Exceed Standards! South Korea Recalls and Destroys, Strict Food Safety Inspections

Recently, the relevant agencies of the South Korean Gyeongin Administration and the Busan Administration conducted a detailed inspection of many products in the market and found that many products were out of standard, involving kitchen utensils, food, agricultural and forestry products and other fields. Below are details of some of the out-of-standard items:

1. The BABY carrier produced by YUYAO XINDONG BABY CARRY FACTORY has excessive nickel content, and the measured value is 1.2mg /L (0.5% citric acid solution).

2.CHAOZHOU OUYI STAINLESS STEEL PRODUCTS CO., LTD. Produced BEEHIVE BOTH HANDS FRYING PAN POT 14CM, stainless steel (fluorine resin coating) -silver + black total dissolution exceeded the standard, the measured value is 12mg/L(water), 38mg/L(4% acetic acid).

3.DANDONG SHENGHAI FOODSTUFF CO.,LTD. The content of preservative (sorbic acid) in the frozen boiled clams produced by mala sauce exceeded the standard, and the measured value was 0.0052 g/kg.

4.HEILongJIANG ZHENSHI FOOD PROCESSING CO., LTD. The content of residual pesticide (zolidamide) in frozen Chinese cabbage exceeded the standard, and the measured value was 0.03 mg/kg.

5. The plastic cookie cutter produced by the FACTORY of YIWU RUTONG DAILY NECESSITIES has exceeded the total dissolution amount of polypropylene (matte red) with measured values of 162(4% acetic acid), 8(water), 10(n-heptane) mg/L.

6. The canned burdock produced by LINYI XINSHENG FOOD CO.,LTD was found to contain excessive potassium sorbate.

7. The content of residual pesticide (chlorpyrifos) in Jasmine white TEA produced by HENGXIAN TIANCHEN TEA FACTORY exceeded the standard, and the measured value was 0.03 mg/kg.

8. The content of the sweet sushi-shaped jelly produced by CHAOZHOU CHAOAN XIAOHUI FOOD CO., Ltd. exceeded the standard and was detected.

9.CHAOZHOU HUALIDA CERAMICS MAKING CO.,LTD produced wine stuffed with Santa Claus (6765535), the nickel content exceeded the standard, the measured value is 0.8mg /L.

10.ZHonGSHAN DINGXUN ELECTRIC APPLIANCE CO., LTD. The total dissolution of soybean milk produced by the machine exceeded the standard, and the measured value was 144(water),140(4% acetic acid),25(n-heptane) mg/L.

11.JINING QINQIN FOOD TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., produced the sweet shrimp barbecued taste, sulfur dioxide content exceeded the standard, the measured value is 0.207 g/kg.

12. Frozen pepper produced by KAILU SHUNCHENG AGRICUTURAL PRODUCTS CO.,LTD has an excessive residual pesticide content, with a measured value of 0.03mg /kg.

13. Frozen leek produced by QINGDAO DOUYUAN FOODSTUFF CO.,LTD has exceeded the limit of pesticide residue (acarinuron), and the measured value is 0.4mg /kg.

14.SUIXIAN HonGFA NATIVE CO., LTD. The production of wolfberry (fruit, dry), residual pesticide (thiazinone, acetamidine) content exceeded the standard, the measured value was 0.081 mg/kg and 0.147 mg/kg, respectively.

15. The kitchen utensils produced by BENGBU TINGRUN GLASSWARE CO., LTD are not qualified for thermal shock strength.

16. The roasted mintai fish skin produced by LonGHU BOLU FOOD FACTORY has excessive acid value and preservative (sorbate), with measured values of 5.431 mg/g and 0.333 g/kg, respectively.

17. Frozen red peppers produced by QINGDAO RonGWANGTONG FOOD CO.,LTD have exceeded the limit of pesticide residue (myxin), and the measured value is 0.05 mg/kg.

18. Freshest scallions produced by LIANYUNGANG QUNLI AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT CO.,LTD and WEIFANG HENGTAI INTERNATIonAL TRADING CO.,LTD. The residual pesticide (thiamethoxam) content exceeded the standard, and the measured values were 2.36 mg/kg and 3.72 mg/kg, respectively.

19. The content of residual pesticides (chlorpyrifos and Chlorothalonil) in schisandra chinensis produced by QINHUANGDAO MANYAOBENCAO BIOTECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD exceeded the standard, and the measured values were 0.04 mg/kg and 1.04 mg/kg, respectively.

20.HUNCHUN CITY HAIWEIDUO FOOD CO.,LTD. Production of flavored pollack, the total number of colonies exceeded the standard.

21. Sandwich lunch box produced by DIANFA PLASTIC PRODUCTS FACTORY, JIEYANG RonGCHENG DISTRICT, the total dissolution amount of polypropylene exceeded the standard, and the measured value was 181 mg/L (n-heptane).

22. The multi-spring egg salad produced by JIANGSU AUSCO FOODS CO.LTD had excessive E. coli content.

23. The content of residual pesticides (chlorpyrifos and imidamine) in Schisandra produced by DonGGANG RonGJI FOOD CO.,LTD exceeded the standard. The measured values were chlorpyrifos: 0.02 mg/kg, imidamine: 0.09 mg/kg.

All of these products have been recalled or destroyed, and the companies involved have been punished. Consumers should carefully check the product information when purchasing to avoid buying unqualified goods. At the same time, relevant departments will continue to strengthen market supervision to ensure that consumers' rights and interests are not infringed.
