Kose acquires majority stake in Thailand’s PanPuri
Kose announced the acquisition of an 80% stake in Thai fragrance brand PanPuri. Under the terms of the transaction, Puri is expected to become a consolidated subsidiary of Kose from December 30, 2025.
PanPuri’s revenue in 2023 reached 580 million baht, more than double its revenue in 2021. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition is in line with Kose’s mid-term strategic goal of “adding regionally rooted brands to its portfolio” to achieve global business growth. Kazutoshi Kobayashi, President and CEO of Kose, commented: “We believe that PanPuri’s traditional approach and refined product design are highly aligned with our approach of continuously pursuing sensory quality while inheriting tradition and innovation. Through this acquisition, we will accelerate the global strategy set out in our mid- to long-term vision and aim to establish a presence in the Global South market to further enhance our value.”
