Mipa Group Acquires Wildschek Lacke

The Mipa Group is expanding its sales network in Austria and will take over the business of Wildschek Lacke & Farben GmbH, headquartered in Münchendorf near Vienna, from February 1, 2025.

The traditional Wildschek paint factory has been producing in Vienna since 1948 and moved to its current headquarters in 2023. The company employs around 50 employees at all locations.

The Mipa Group, which has been a supplier to Wildschek for many years, will take over the company as part of a regulated succession from the previous owner, MErich Wildschek.

With a total of six retail and wholesale locations, Wildschek Lacke complements the Mipa Group's existing distribution network in Austria. The combination of the independent trading partners and the existing nine locations of Henelit, a Mipa Group company, will allow for even more comprehensive market coverage.
