CSSC SunRui Coatings Gets New Leadership as Industry Evolves
On February 19, it was announced that CSSC SunRui Marine Coatings Co., Ltd., a prominent player in the ship coatings industry, has undergone a significant leadership change. Xing Pengfei has officially replaced Wang Hongren as the chairman of the company. This transition also involves the resignation of directors Li Shikai and Sun Lei, with Wang Jun, Wang Tianping, and Duan Jiangwei stepping in as new board members. Additionally, Duan Jiangwei has resigned from his position as chairman of the supervisory board, while Wang Wanzhao and Zhan Zhenyi have left their roles as supervisors.
Founded in May 2004, CSSC SunRui is a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. The company specializes in the research, development, production, and service of marine coatings, industrial corrosion-resistant coatings, and specialty functional coatings. They are recognized for supplying high-quality products to national key projects, including the Ling'ao Nuclear Power Plant and the Hangzhou Bay Bridge.
The company boasts a national-level postdoctoral research station and various engineering technology research centers. Its ship coatings have received certifications from several major classification societies, meeting international maritime organization standards. With a production volume of 17,966 tons and sales reaching 17,982 tons in 2023, CSSC SunRui has seen consistent growth, with production and sales increasing for four consecutive years.
As the industry continues to evolve, this leadership change is expected to bring fresh perspectives and drive further advancements in coatings technology.
