Clariant’s New Aristoflex SUN for Advanced Sunscreen Formulations
Clariant, a global specialty chemicals company, has introduced its new advanced rheology modifier to solve sunscreen formulation challenges. The launch supports the growing trend of “sun-skincareization” (or daily sun protection), where SPF is increasingly integrated into everyday cosmetics. Designed for both sunscreen and daily UV protection, Aristoflex SUN stabilizes UV filter ingredients while addressing the growing demand for lightweight textures in daily sun care products.
“As multifunctional skincare becomes more popular, Aristoflex SUN helps formulators improve the stability, SPF performance and sensory appeal of sun care solutions. As experts in rheology modifier technology, we offer solutions that meet the market demand for high-performance protection products,” said Sophia Kim, Global Marketing Manager Skincare at Clariant.
Cold-processable Aristoflex SUN offers formulators the convenience of a pre-neutralized polymer that has excellent thickening and texturizing properties while ensuring optimal UV filter stability.
