Wanhua Boosts Global Reach with $5 Billion Market Entry and New Pakistan Office Launch
Wanhua Chemical has officially launched its Pakistan office in April 2025, a move that cements its local sales and service presence in the country. Coinciding with this milestone, the company also made a strong impression at the 2025 Pakistan Polyurethane and Coatings Expo, where it unveiled a range of cutting-edge innovations and system-level solutions in polyurethane and coatings.
This dual development represents more than just regional expansion—it marks a key leap in Wanhua’s Southeast Asia and South Asia strategy, underscoring its broader ambition to evolve “from China Wanhua to Global Wanhua.” The move also provides new momentum to Pakistan’s chemical industry, which is experiencing structural upgrades and rising demand.
The establishment of the Pakistan office significantly enhances Wanhua’s footprint in South Asia. According to the BuyChem Research Institute, Pakistan’s chemical market was valued at $5 billion in 2024, with polyurethane and coatings demand growing at 10% annually, driven primarily by the construction, automotive, and industrial sectors. Through local operations, Wanhua aims to shorten delivery cycles, cut logistics costs, and sharpen its competitive edge. The company is currently serving downstream clients in motorcycle manufacturing, sports equipment, and construction materials.
