The food innovation landscape in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) is evolving rapidly, with the region becoming a global focal point for novel food approvals. ANZ's regulatory framework for novel food ingredients, outlined in Standard 1.5.1 of the Food Standards Code, emphasizes public health and safety evaluations for non-traditional foods.
