Investment in chemical raw materials and manufacturing fell by 0.3% in January-April.
Statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics on the 15th showed that in January-April, the national fixed assets investment (excluding farmers) was 15435.8 billion yuan, an increase of 7% over the same period last year and an increase of 0.52% annually. Among them, investment in chemical raw materials and chemicals manufacturing fell by 0.3%. In terms of sub-industries, the investment in primary industry was 459.1 billion yuan, an increase of 16.8% over the same period last year, and the growth rate fell by 7.4 percentage points from January to March; the investment in secondary industry was 5596 billion yuan, an increase of 2.5%, an increase of 0.5 percentage points; the investment in tertiary industry was 9380.7 billion yuan, an increase of 9.3%, and the growth rate fell by 0.7 percentage points.
In the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 2.7% year-on-year and increased by 0.7 percentage points compared with January-March. Among them, mining investment decreased by 2% year-on-year and increased by 2.5% in January-March; manufacturing investment increased by 4.8% and increased by 1 percentage point; and investment in power, heat, gas and water production and supply decreased by 8.4% and decreased by 0.5 percentage points. In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply) increased by 12.4% year-on-year, and the growth rate fell by 0.6 percentage points from January to March. Among them, the investment in water resources management industry increased by 5.8%, the growth rate fell by 4.3 percentage points; the investment in public facilities management industry increased by 10.8%, the growth rate fell by 2.6 percentage points; the investment in road transportation industry increased by 18.2%, the growth rate fell by 0.7 percentage points; and the investment in railway transportation industry decreased by 8.9%, and the decline rate increased by 3.8 percentage points.
Regionally, investment in the eastern region increased by 5.7% year-on-year, and the growth rate fell by 0.3 percentage points compared with January-March; investment in the central region increased by 9.8% and the growth rate fell by 0.4 percentage points; investment in the western region increased by 7.2%, and the growth rate fell by 2.2 percentage points; investment in the northeastern region increased by 3.4%, and the growth rate increased by 2 percentage points. According to the types of registration, the investment of domestic-funded enterprises increased by 7.8% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 0.6 percentage points compared with January-March; the investment of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises decreased by 5.6%, by 2.4 percentage points; and the foreign investment decreased by 5.1%, by 1 percentage point.
