The 31st MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL MACHINERY FAIR (MIMF 2021) is proudly presented by ES International Event Management Sdn Bhd to industry players for the 31st time. The event is expected to attract more than 12,000 local and international trade visitors and industry players. MIMF 2021 has been growing its outstanding reputation since 1998 as Malaysia’s leading event for the packaging, food processing, bakery equipment, plastic, mould & tools as well as LED-Lighting and LED-signage industries. With the support from industry players, MIMF 2021 will continue to grow bigger and better every time.
Based on the findings by Department of Statistics, Malaysia has more than 2,000 established companies involved in the food processing industry with the majority of them are Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), this accounts for 10% of the total manufacturing output and the number is still increasing yearly.
The demand for machinery and equipment for the F&B industry is growing with the consumers looking for higher standards and better quality in meeting the requirement of increasing export these days. This is supported by Malaysias status as a market leader for the HALAL Food Industry in the region.
Malaysia is one of the largest plastic producers in Asia with over 1,550 manufacturers, employing approximately 99,100 workers in the industry. The plastic related industry is one of the most dynamic and vibrant growth sectors in Malaysia’s manufacturing sector.
The advertising industry in Malaysia today has changed rapidly from traditional media to digital media. Digital advertising with eco-friendly particularly the adaption of LED-Signage, LED-Lighting has seen a sharp growth in recent years.
MIMF will also serve as a platform to further develop the nation’s manufacturing sector, allowing industry players to keep track of today’s competitive environment and enhancing Made in Malaysia brand among the global market.
