This week, the price of ammonium sulfate in China's market has shown a weak decline. The operating rate of coke enterprises remains stable, while the operating rate of caprolactam enterprises has increased. Currently, the supply of ammonium sulfate in the market is sufficient, with fewer inquiries from downstream buyers and weakened purchasing enthusiasm, leading to a quiet trading atmosphere. The export market situation is poor, putting pressure on companies to clear inventory, and the ammonium sulfate market is operating weakly.
Market Conditions
As of August 15, for coking-grade ammonium sulfate, the mainstream ex-factory price in Shandong region is around 1,030 CNY per ton. For caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate, the mainstream ex-factory price in Shandong region is around 1,040-1,090 CNY per ton.

Ammonium sulfate analysts believe that the market trend for ammonium sulfate has been weak and downward recently. Currently, the supply of ammonium sulfate in the Chinese market exceeds demand, with poor trading activity, and no improvement in exports.
