Major Leadership Changes at Sinopec New General Managers Appointed at Zhongyuan and Exploration Divisions
Sinopec has announced a series of high-level personnel changes across its oilfield and exploration segments. Li Zhongchao, previously Deputy General Manager and Party Committee Member at Zhongyuan Oilfield, has been promoted to General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary. Born in 1971, Li holds a PhD, is a senior engineer, and has an extensive background in oil and gas development and engineering.
Meanwhile, Wang Liangjun, formerly General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of Henan Oilfield, has been appointed as Representative and Party Secretary of Sinopec Exploration Company, replacing Hu Dongfeng. Wang, born in 1972 and a graduate of Chengdu University of Technology with a master’s degree, is also a senior engineer with deep expertise in petroleum geology and exploration planning.
These appointments reflect Sinopec’s strategic drive to strengthen its leadership team and enhance its capabilities in oil and gas exploration and development.
