September Hydrogen Peroxide Market Warms Up

ECHEMI 2025-09-27

September 26th news

According to the commodity analysis system, starting from September 1st, the hydrogen peroxide market has shown a warming trend with fluctuating increases. On September 1st, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide was 703 CNY/ton, and by September 26th, the average market price had risen to 743 CNY/ton, marking a price increase of 5.69%.

Bullish factors push hydrogen peroxide prices continuously higher

Starting in September, terminal demand in the printing and paper industries began to decline. Meanwhile, some hydrogen peroxide manufacturers are still halting production for maintenance, easing supply pressures. As a result, both bullish and bearish forces are at play, leading to weak pricing for hydrogen peroxide. By September 4, the average market price in China had dropped to around 690 CNY per ton. Market transactions remained sluggish, further contributing to the downward trend.

In the second week, the terminal demand from the printing and papermaking industries improved, leading to an increase in orders for hydrogen peroxide manufacturers. Market transactions improved, with a rise in shipment volumes, and supply became tight in phases, causing prices to stop falling and start rising. Due to some manufacturers gradually restarting their facilities, the price increase of this round of hydrogen peroxide was somewhat limited, with an overall increase of 20-30 CNY per ton. By September 16, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide had risen to around 710 CNY per ton, representing a price increase of over 3% compared to the 8th.

In the late part of the month, supported by rigid demand from end-users, the hydrogen peroxide market saw improved transactions and a continuous warming trend, with prices mainly on the rise. The average price of hydrogen peroxide in China increased to around 740 CNY/ton, with a price increase of over 4%.

The hydrogen peroxide analyst believes that after the National Day holiday, demand from the printing and paper industries will rise, leading to tighter supply of hydrogen peroxide—and prices are expected to continue their upward trend in the near term.
